Heat Treatment – The UNIK Difference

To achieve long mould life, we apply advanced carburizing heat treatment. This process hardens the surface layer to HRC58-62 while maintaining a tough, impact-resistant core at HRC35-40. The result is a mould that resists wear on the cavity walls where concrete flows, yet flexes under vibration without cracking. This is why UNIK moulds consistently reach 80,000 to 100,000 cycles in normal production.
