Five specific commitments, not general promises
Commitment 1: You receive a firm, itemized quotation with no variable pricing
Our quotation includes: material grade (42CrMo or tool steel), heat treatment specification (carburizing, target hardness range), machining tolerance (±0.1mm), surface finish (Ra 1.6), packaging (IPPC wooden crate), and shipping term (FOB Xiamen or Quanzhou). We do not add surcharges for "complex cavity design" or "expedited engineering" after order placement. The price we quote is the price you pay, provided the design and specifications do not change.
Commitment 2: Your mold ships on or before the confirmed date
Standard lead time is 20–25 calendar days after you approve the final drawing. This timeline is calculated based on current shop load, material availability, and heat treatment furnace scheduling – not an optimistic estimate. For customers with urgent requirements, we can quote expedited service with a 12–15 day lead time at a 20% premium. If we miss the confirmed ship date for reasons within our control, we offer a 5% discount on the affected order. In five years of operation, this penalty has never been invoked.
Commitment 3: You can verify every claim through documentation or site visit
Every UNIK mold ships with a hardness test report and a dimensional inspection report. The hardness report shows surface and core values for each cavity. The dimensional report shows measured values for all critical dimensions against the approved drawing. If you require third-party inspection before shipment (SGS, BV, or other agency), we accommodate this at your cost with no scheduling delay. For major customers, we offer annual factory visits with process walkthroughs and live testing of a sample mold.
Commitment 4: You receive technical support from people who make molds, not sales scripts
When you contact UNIK for support – whether by email, WhatsApp, or phone – you will reach a team member with production floor experience. Our support personnel have personally operated CNC machines, run heat treatment furnaces, and diagnosed demolding failures on customer production lines. This means you get answers that reference actual process parameters, not generic troubleshooting guides. Target response time is 4 hours for email, 1 hour for WhatsApp during business days (Monday–Saturday, 8:00–18:00 China time). For video call troubleshooting, we schedule within 24 hours.
Commitment 5: We continue to support your mold after it is in service
A UNIK mold is not end-of-life when the cavity edges wear. We offer refurbishment services: re-grinding of cavity surfaces, replacement of core pins, repair of damaged mounting holes, and re-heat treatment if necessary. Refurbishment typically costs 50–60% of a new mold and restores the mold to 80–90% of its original lifespan. We also maintain an inventory of common spare parts – pin plates, core pins, liner plates – for fast shipment. For molds that are truly beyond repair, we provide a disposal certificate and a discount on the replacement mold.
