This gradient hardness is critical: the hard surface resists abrasion from sharp aggregates, while the tough core absorbs the 3,000–4,500 RPM vibration of modern block machines. For each order, we cross-reference your machine model before cutting any steel. If your machine is older or from a brand not in our database, we accept physical samples or detailed drawings and reverse-engineer the mounting geometry. A mold is a consumable tool. UNIK structures its support to minimize the impact when replacement or repair is needed. We maintain drawing archives for every custom mold we have produced since 2010 – when you reorder, we do not need to re-engineer. Our standard lead time is 20–25 days from drawing approval, compared to 10–12 weeks typical for European manufacturers and 30–45 days for many Chinese suppliers. For urgent repairs, our refurbishment service returns worn molds to serviceable condition at approximately 60% of the cost of a new mold, with a 10–15 day turnaround. Spare parts such as core pins, pin plates, and liner plates are stocked for common mold types.
