Production Process of Curb Moulds
 

Step 1: Raw Materials
The first step in making paver blocks is to gather the raw paver materials. The raw materials include cement, sand, aggregates, water, and color pigments. These paver block making raw materials are mixed in a specific ratio to create a mixture that has the desired consistency.

 

Step 2: Mixing The Ingredients
The next step is mixing the raw materials to create a homogeneous mixture. The mixer ensures that the mixture is consistent and free of any lumps or unevenness.

 

Step 3: Pouring The Mixture Into The Molds
Once the mixture is ready, it is poured into a paver block mold. The molds are made of high-quality materials and are designed to create paver blocks of different shapes and sizes.

 

Step 4: Vibrating The Molds
After pouring the mixture into the mold, the mold is placed on a vibrating table. The vibration helps to remove any air pockets and ensures that the mixture settles evenly in the mold.

 

Step 5: Compressing The Mixture
Once the molds are vibrated, they are placed in a hydraulic press. The press applies pressure to the molds, compressing the mixture and creating the desired shape and size of the paver blocks.

 

Step 6: Curing The Paver Blocks
Once the paver blocks are molded, they are cured for a specific period. Curing is the process of keeping the paver blocks moist for a few days to allow the mixture to harden and gain strength.

 

Step 7: Finishing The Paver Blocks
After the curing process is complete, the paver blocks are removed from the mold and sent for finishing. Finishing includes trimming the edges, polishing the surface, and adding any desired surface textures or patterns.

 

Textured Faces of Curb Moulds

Greater texturing depth or height requires larger draft angles (typically 5-8 degrees).


For areas with gloss, design artistic lines or embossed steps to prevent jagged edges at texture junctions.


The shallowest etching depth is 2µm, the deepest is 3mm, based on visual and tactile requirements.


The effect of texturing closely relates to mold material, which should be selected based on material choice.


The texturing process cycle varies: simple spark textures take 1.5-2 days, horizontal/vertical/circular textures take 3-4 days, and complex patterns like diamond textures and deep textures take at least 5 days.
