Product Overview
A cement curb mould is a steel forming tool mounted on block machines or dedicated curb-making equipment. Its cavity determines the final shape, dimensions, and surface finish of each curb. Standard applications call for 42CrMo steel. Highly abrasive concrete mixes require tool steel. The choice depends entirely on the customer's actual production environment - no one-material-fits-all approach.
Heat treatment
A carburizing process delivers a hard surface at HRC58-62 while the core remains tough at HRC35-40. This combination absorbs vibration, resists cracking, and significantly extends the working life of each mould.
Precision machining
CNC machining produces cavity surfaces at Ra 1.6 finish or better. Every internal corner receives a 3–5mm radius to remove stress concentration points. Dimensional tolerances stay within ±0.1mm.
Service life
In normal production settings, UNIK curb moulds consistently perform for 80,000 to 100,000 cycles.

Every UNIK curb mould is manufactured to fit one specific machine model. Ordering Process
To begin an order, the customer supplies four pieces of information: machine brand and model, curb dimensions, number of cavities, and daily output target. Within 48 hours, UNIK provides a dimensional drawing for customer approval. Once approved, production commences. The finished moulds are shipped 20 to 25 days later from Xiamen or Quanzhou port under FOB terms.
