Curb Molds Concrete

Curb cement molds produce concrete kerbstones that define road edges, separate traffic from pedestrian zones, and direct stormwater runoff. Different road classes require different profiles. Straight-face curbs are used for highways and high-speed roads. Sloped-face curbs are used for residential streets and parking lots where emergency vehicle access may be needed. Barrier curbs are used for bridge approaches and highway medians. UNIK manufactures all three profiles in standard lengths of 500mm, 780mm, and 1000mm. Curb dimensions must be consistent for fast, reliable installation. If curbs vary in length by more than ±2mm, joints open up or compress unevenly, allowing water infiltration and frost damage. If height varies, installers must shim or grind each curb, slowing installation. UNIK curb molds hold dimensional tolerances of ±0.3mm on length, height, and face angle, and straightness tolerance of ±0.5mm over the full mould length. Steel grades include 42CrMo for standard production (HRC55-58) and Cr12MoV for high-volume production (HRC59-62). Expected lifespan is 80,000-100,000 cycles for premium moulds.
