Colombo, Sri Lanka – June 25, 2025 – Fujian Unik Mould Technology Co., Ltd. today announced the delivery of a complete fully-automatic hydraulic wave-type interlock paving block production line to a major waterfront development in Colombo. The equipment, designed for high-precision wave-pattern plaza and marina pavers, is now en-route and will be operational next month.
Engineered for Sri Lanka's tropical climate and high-strength concrete mixes, the line features UNIK's latest Interlock Paving Block Moulds, capable of producing 200× 100× 80 mm wave-type pavers at 18 cycles/hour-enough to surface 2,000 m² per shift.

Rigid Cast-Welded Frame – heavy-duty cast-steel columns combined with robot-welded beams absorb vibration, ensuring 50,000+ hour frame life.
PLC + HMI Intelligence – Siemens S7-1200 PLC with I/O modules handles safety interlocks, fault diagnosis and recipe storage; operators simply select the product code.
Proportional Hydraulics – Rexroth proportional valves adjust flow and pressure in real time, guaranteeing identical compaction on every cycle.
Mechatronic Integration – synchronized hydraulic, electrical and mechanical movements deliver ≤1 % rejection rate and uniform density across the paver surface.
Pneumatic Anti-Vibration Mounts – cut noise to <72 dB and protect nearby structures from resonance, critical for urban plaza locations.
Quick-Change Mould System – side-clamp design allows one operator to swap Interlock Paving Block Moulds in under 15 minutes, supporting multi-shape production with the same machine.

Local Support & Training
A UNIK technician will arrive in Colombo to supervise mechanical and hydraulic commissioning, calibrate the Interlock Paving Block Moulds, and train local staff on operation, maintenance and mould change-over procedures.
