UNIK concrete slab moulds are manufactured from low-carbon alloy steel with precision carburizing heat treatment, achieving a surface hardness of HRC57-61 while maintaining a tough, impact-resistant core. The carburized layer thickness of 1.1-1.4mm provides long-term wear resistance against abrasive concrete aggregates. Dimensional tolerance is held to an exacting ±0.12mm, with overall flatness strictly controlled to ≤0.5mm across the entire mould surface - a critical requirement for producing slabs that remain level when installed. Each mould receives chrome plating for superior corrosion resistance, protecting against rust and extending service life. These moulds are engineered to handle over 100 tons of compression pressure, delivering an expected operational lifespan exceeding 450,000 cycles under normal production conditions. The modular design allows individual replacement of worn components rather than scrapping the entire mould, significantly reducing maintenance costs and minimizing production downtime.
