What Is a Cement Slab Mould?
A cement slab mould is a steel form used to cast concrete slabs of specific dimensions. The mould determines the slab's length, width, thickness, and surface finish. Unlike brick or block moulds with multiple cavities, slab moulds typically feature one large cavity or a few larger compartments, requiring extreme flatness and rigidity to prevent warping under the weight of wet concrete.

Why Steel Slab Moulds Outperform Other Materials
Some manufacturers offer plastic or wood moulds for cement slabs. These materials are cheaper initially but fail quickly under repeated use. Plastic warps. Wood absorbs moisture and swells. Both produce inconsistent slab dimensions after only a few pours.
