How Interlocking Works
Curved edges – One paver's convex curve fits into the next paver's concave curve. Load transfers across the curve, not just at corner points.
Angled sides – Trapezoidal shapes lock together like puzzle pieces. Lateral forces get distributed across the entire paved area.
Herringbone patterns – Chevron-shaped pavers create a surface that resists creeping under heavy vehicle turning loads.
Keyhole systems – Small projections and recesses on paver sides provide positive mechanical lock without visible gaps.
