Rectangular pavers have their place. But when a project demands visual impact, load distribution, or permeable design, hexagonal pavers outperform. Their honeycomb pattern spreads weight across multiple units, drains water naturally, and creates a distinctive look that square grids cannot match.

What Makes a Hexagonal Paver Mould Different
Angles matter. A hexagon has six 120° corners. If any angle drifts by more than half a degree, pavers won't fit together. UNIK holds angular tolerance to ±0.5°.
Walls are thinner. Hexagonal cavities have narrower walls than rectangular ones. Thin sections wear faster and crack sooner if steel or heat treatment is wrong. UNIK's Cr12MoV steel and carburized surface (HRC59-62) protect these vulnerable areas.
Edges must be clean. Six edges per paver means six opportunities for chipping, sticking, or misalignment. UNIK finishes every cavity surface to Ra 1.6-smooth enough to release cleanly, sharp enough to lock precisely
