Cement Block Mould-Built for Production

The mould set determines cycle time, scrap rate and downstream finishing. Our cement block mould is specified for continuous shifts: stable geometry under load, predictable demoulding and quick service on the line.

What You Get

  • Material system: wear-resistant alloy steels with vacuum quench and temper; typical hardness HRC 58–62, effective hardened depth 1.3–1.5 mm.
  • Geometry control: cavity-to-core clearance 0.20–0.40 mm (per design), flatness ≤0.30 mm over 600 mm, critical dimensions held to ±0.10–0.20 mm.
  • Surface finish: machined + EDM where required; cavity Ra ≤0.8 μm for clean release and consistent edges.
  • Demoulding design: draft 1.0–1.5°, radii blended to reduce chipping; optional anti-stick surface treatment for mixes with high fines.

Manufacturing Notes

CNC milling and jig grinding set the datum structure; wire EDM forms tight features and venting. Heat treatment is performed in controlled atmosphere to avoid distortion, followed by straightness correction and stress relief. Each mould seat, core and liner is serialized for traceability.

Serviceable Construction

High-wear zones use replaceable liners or custom mould inserts. A typical core insert change can be done without removing the full cassette, keeping maintenance windows short. Fasteners are standardized; lubrication points and debris paths are accessible from the machine side.

Machine Compatibility

Bolt patterns and alignment blocks are built to the customer's machine family (e.g., Hess, Masa, Tiger, QGM/Zenith, etc.). We match stroke, clamping and pallet interfaces so the mould drops into existing tooling without rework. Drawings follow ISO 2768-m for general tolerances unless otherwise specified.

Quality Control Package (included with every shipment)

  • Mill certificates and PMI on incoming steel
  • Hardness map after heat treatment
  • Dimensional report (CMM/height-gauge set) on critical features
  • Blue-check contact for mating surfaces
  • Run-in checklist for first installation

Throughput & Mix Tolerance

Design accommodates typical cycle targets in the 6–12 s range (machine and mix dependent). Venting and draft are tuned for cement-rich mixes as well as aggregates with higher moisture. Edge protection geometry reduces spall and keeps post-cure rejection low.

Customization Options

  • Block formats: standard and non-standard footprints, split-face, chamfered or beveled edges
  • Textures: smooth, stone-like, shot-blast ready, or customer-supplied pattern
  • Inserts: modular cores for quick changeover between heights or cavity counts

    Packaging & Logistics

Each mould is VCI-protected, sealed with desiccant and braced inside a 9-ply export crate with tip/tilt indicators. We support EXW/FOB/CIF terms and provide a packing list with net and gross weights for route planning.

    After-Sales & Maintenance

Warranty covers workmanship for 12 months. We provide wear-profile advice, re-hardening/refacing services and spare liner kits. An installation guide and maintenance schedule are supplied, plus remote support during first article runs.

    Why This Matters for Procurement

Clear tolerances, replaceable wear parts and documented QC reduce unplanned downtime and scrap. The result is steadier output, simpler maintenance budgeting and fewer surprises over the mould's life.
