Why Go Hexagonal?
Load spreads more evenly. A hexagon has six contact points with neighboring pavers. A square has four. More contact points mean less pressure on any single paver.
Water drains naturally. Gaps between hexagons create drainage paths without needing special spacer lugs. Permeable paving becomes simpler.
Looks different on purpose. Hexagonal patterns stand out. Garden paths, plazas, and public spaces benefit from the visual break from standard rectangular grids.
Grass grows through easily. Open-cell hexagonal designs work well for parking areas and fire lanes that need to stay green.
