What Is a Retaining Wall Blocks Mould?
A retaining wall blocks mould is a steel tool that mounts onto a block making machine. The mould cavity is shaped to produce blocks with specific features-rear lips, pins, or interlocking edges-that allow them to stack securely and resist lateral soil pressure.
The mould consists of multiple components: upper mould, lower mould, press head, and cavity inserts. Ordering Process
Ordering retaining wall blocks moulds from UNIK follows a straightforward process designed to eliminate guesswork.
Step 1 – Information Gathering – The customer provides machine brand and model, block size and type (interlocking, L-shaped, decorative, etc.), number of cavities per mould, and daily production target.
Step 2 – Drawing Preparation – Within 48 hours, UNIK sends a dimensional drawing for approval. The drawing includes cavity dimensions, interlocking features, corner radii, mounting hole positions, and overall envelope sizes.
Step 3 – Drawing Approval – The customer reviews the drawing and confirms that all dimensions match requirements. If changes are needed, UNIK revises the drawing and resubmits.
Step 4 – Production – After drawing approval, UNIK cuts steel and begins machining. Heat treatment and final inspection follow.
Step 5 – Shipping – The mould is packed in a wooden crate with anti-rust treatment and impact protection. Lead time is 20 to 25 days after drawing approval. Shipping port is FOB Xiamen or Quanzhou.
