Mould wear is a gradual process that degrades performance over time. Waiting until a production problem occurs before inspecting the mould means you have already lost product quality and may have increased repair costs . Regular inspection is the first step in preventing these outcomes.

Product dimensions often reveal wear that may not be clearly visible during a visual inspection .
