Types of Block Moulding
Block moulding covers several product categories, each with different mould requirements.
Hollow block moulding – Produces blocks with core holes that reduce weight and improve insulation. The mould must maintain precise core alignment to ensure uniform wall thickness. Used for load-bearing walls and foundations.
Solid block moulding – Produces fully dense blocks with no core holes. The mould requires higher compression forces. Used for structural walls and heavy load applications.
Paver block moulding – Produces paving stones for driveways, walkways, and plazas. The mould must produce clean edges and consistent surface texture for proper interlocking.
Curb stone moulding – Produces kerbstones for road edges and drainage channels. The mould features longer, narrower cavities with careful ejection design to prevent damage.
