Steel Grade Matched to Your Application

No universal steel works for every job. UNIK selects the right grade based on your concrete mix and output requirements. For standard mixes, 42CrMo alloy steel does the job. For highly abrasive materials - sharp sand or recycled aggregates - tool steel such as Cr12MoV is the better choice. The result: wear resistance where it counts, without paying for unnecessary extras.

Carburizing Heat Treatment

Heat treatment makes or breaks mould life. UNIK applies a carburizing process that hardens only the surface layer - roughly 2mm deep - to HRC58-62, providing a tough shield against concrete abrasion. Beneath it, the core stays flexible at HRC35-40, absorbing the shock of machine vibration. This "hard shell, resilient core" design stops brittle cracking in its tracks and achieves 80,000 to 100,000 cycles of service.

Precision Manufacturing & Quality Control

Every cavity is CNC machined to tight tolerances: ±0.1mm on critical dimensions and a surface finish of Ra 1.6 or smoother. Internal corners are given a 3-5mm radius to prevent stress from building up. A rigorous multi-stage inspection process - from raw material checks to in-process dimensional verification, hardness testing, and final measurement - guarantees that each mould matches the approved drawing precisely.

Forget generic "close enough" moulds. UNIK builds every mould to fit your specific block machine - brand and model matter. We keep specification data on major brands: HESS, MASA, ZENITH, BESSER, TIGER, Qunfeng, Hengxing, Quangong, Columbia, and others. If your machine isn't on the list, we can still achieve a perfect fit using your drawings, old moulds, or clear photos with measurements.
