Material & Pre-treatment
We use vacuum-degassed low-alloy tool steel (Cr12MoV, 9CrSi, etc.) that is multi-directionally forged and spheroidising-annealed to create a uniform carbide network-ideal for later vacuum quenching (60–63 HRC) and multi-tempering. Optional deep-cooling (-196 °C) converts retained austenite and adds 30 % extra life.

The modular kit is machined to ±0.2 mm tolerance, nitride-hardened to 62-68 HRC on wear faces and balanced for 0.2-0.5 mm press-foot clearance, guaranteeing identical block height, perfect interlock and a flawless finish every cycle.
