A screen block mould is a precision steel tool used to produce decorative concrete blocks with open patterns. These blocks, also known as breeze blocks or architectural screens, allow light and air to pass through while providing privacy and shade. 1. High-Strength Steel Construction
The mould is made from low-carbon alloy steel with excellent carburizing capability. This material withstands repeated vibration and pressure without deformation.

2. Advanced Heat Treatment
The carburizing process hardens the surface to HRC58-62 while keeping the core tough at HRC35-40. The hard surface resists abrasion from concrete. The tough core absorbs vibration without cracking.

3. Precision Pattern Machining
Screen block patterns require exact cavity geometry. UNIK uses CNC machining to hold pattern dimensions to ±0.1mm tolerance. Every block produced matches the design specification exactly.

4. Radiused Corners
All internal corners are machined with a 3-5mm radius. This eliminates stress concentration points that cause fatigue cracks in sharp-cornered moulds.

5. Smooth Surface Finish
Cavity surfaces are finished to Ra 1.6 or better. This ensures clean demolding without sticking and produces the sharp, clean edges that decorative screen blocks require.

6. Modular Design for Easy Maintenance
Press plates and wear parts are designed for quick, tool-free replacement. This simplifies maintenance and reduces production downtime.

7. Exact Machine Fit
The mounting interface-bolt pattern, locating pins, and overall dimensions-is matched to the customer's specific block machine. UNIK does not sell generic "one size fits all" moulds.
